Note: One must also wash his/her hands before eating a Hamotzi item.
If eating a Kebezah (כביצה) or more of the Hamotzi item, one should say after washing the hands:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו, וְצִוָּנוּ עַל נְטִילַת יָדָיִם.
(if less than a Kebezah is going to be eaten, the hands should still be washed, but the bracha should be left out)
And then before eating, say:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, הַמּוֹצִיא לֶחֶם מִן הָאָרֶץ.
